Physical Requirements

Please see Quick Health Requirements Check List.

Moderate to Difficult

Whilst there is no strenuous activity involved during this safari, a safari vehicle frequently offers a bumpy ride and setting up camp can become tedious. Wildlife drives often involve long hours of sitting and sometimes bouncing around. While we don’t consider this strenuous, it can be uncomfortable and pose a physical demand on the body (legs, back & hips).

All travellers must be able to climb into and out of the raised 4×4 trucks and up the ladders to their roof top tent and claustrophobia is not an option.

We recommend that all travellers have an adventurous spirit, as we will often enjoy close animal encounters, as we will be camping in UN-FENCED camp sites where there will be an assortment of nightly visitors.

Difficult to Very Strenuous

White Water rafting (optional activity) – +/- US$150 per person
Gorge Swing
Canoeing

Important Information about This Trip

On this trip we have combined the highlights of Cape Town, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe in one ultimate safari itinerary as we travel from desert to beach and from bush to delta!

Mandatory Insurance

Since the areas we travel to on this trip are remote and wild (that’s why we go there!), we encourage medical evacuation insurance for your safety especially for pre-existing conditions. We request that you send us documentation of the independent coverage you have selected which will be kept in the lead vehicle and one other at all times.
